Pilgrims from Turkey planning to travel to Saudi Arabia in order to visit Makkah and Madinah will be eligible to enter this Kingdom easily and quickly, after authorities in Saudi Arabia decided to ease the entry rules for all those who plan to perform Umrah.
In addition, authorities in Saudi Arabia also revealed that they plan to launch several facilitated services for pilgrims from Turkey who plan to travel to the Kingdom for Umrah purposes, VisaGuide.World reports.
Officials in Saudi Arabia have announced that all Turkish nationals planning to visit Saudi Arabia will now be eligible to obtain a tourist visa through the latter’s Embassy or Consulate in Turkey, while the visa granted within 48 hours through accredited travel and tourism offices in Turkey listed on the Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
According to local media reports, residents of the United Kingdom, as well as those from the United States, and European Union and holders of Schengen visas are eligible to hold the visa upon arrival at the airports of Madinah, Jeddah, as well as Dammam.
In this regard, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also introduced Nusuk, which is an integrated digital government platform created to enhance and enrich the Umrah experience for all those who plan to perform Umrah, in the Turkish language.
In addition, the platform will facilitate the procedures for visitors planning to enter Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, in addition to a range of services that consist of easing visas, permits as well as booking processes and procedures together with special packages for Makkah and Madinah.
It has been emphasized that Saudi citizens are eligible to issue a personal visit visa for their friends at the same time, all those who wish to host their relatives are also eligible to do the same.
The CEO and Member of the Board at Saudi Tourism Authority and Managing Director of Nusuk, Fahd Hamidaddin, said that the Kingdom continues its efforts to bring to the territory a large number of Muslims from Turkey as well as other countries worldwide.
“Through Nusuk and working with our travel and trade partners in Turkey, we are eliminating barriers, expanding travel options and choices, and driving down costs to make it easier for Muslims to embark on their spiritual journey with comfort and confidence,” he pointed out in this regard.
Hamidaddin has stressed that Saudi Arabia is transforming at a speed which has never been witnessed before while the Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority is continuously attempting to promote diversity, beauty and wonder in the country’s tourism propositions.
