Authorities in China have issued over 60,000 visas to nationals from India in the first five months of this year.
Such an announcement has been made through the recent figures of the Chinese Embassy in India, VisaGuide.World reports.
“In the first 5 months of this year, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates General have issued over 60000 visas to Indian people traveling to China for purposes of business, study, tourism, work, family reunion, etc. Welcome to China,” Chinese Embassy in India spokesperson Wang Xiaojian, pointed out.
In March, authorities in China announced that they would permit international tourists into the country, taking also into account those from India for the first time in three years.
