Canada is expecting an influx of visitors this year, with international flight searches being up by 98 percent year-on-year, according to Stratford Today report.

Tokyo (279 percent increase in searches compared to 2022)
Bangkok (up 229 percent year-over-year)
At the same time, airfare to the South Pacific has experienced a decline by an average of 25 percent since last year, which would make the expensive flights more affordable.
Based on KAYAK’s figures, flights to several coastline destinations are more affordable this year compared to 2022.

In addition, the report notes that citizens of Canada are comfortable with booking travel in advance, while the average flight booking window for international and domestic travel surged by a total of 14 percent and 21 percent, respectively.
This means that passengers are now eligible to book their domestic flights over a month in advance and international flights about two months in advance.
Authorities in Canada have registered a total of 4,609,277 COVID-19 infection cases since the beginning of the pandemic, and a total of 51,624 people have died in the same period.
However, the epidemiologic situation has significantly improved. But the figures provided by Statistics Canada reveal that New Brunswick tourism is far behind the national average compared to pre-pandemic figures.
