Authorities in Qatar announced that they resumed their visa free policy for citizens from 95 countries.
Through a statement, authorities in Qatar confirmed that all persons from these 95 countries are able to enter this country without being required to apply for a visa at first, while the duration of their stay depends on country of origin, VisaGuide.World reports.
Qatar’s government previously banned the entry of visitors through its air, land as well as marine borders for a period from November 1 until December 22, due to the FIFA World Cup that was held in Doha for a period from November 20 until December 18.
All nationals from countries included in the list below are subject to the waiver which is valid for 180 days from the date of issuance, and then those who get the visa are eligible to remain in Qatar for up to 90 days, during a single or multiple trips.
Antigua and Barbuda, Austria, Argentina, Bahamas, Bulgaria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark , Dominican Republic, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Holland, Italy, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Seychelles, Slovakia, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine.
At the same time, it has been reported that for the citizens of the following countries, the waiver will be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of their issuance and those who hold a visa can spend a total of 30 days in Qatar.

The recent decision of Qatar’s authorities has been welcomed by travelers of the countries mentioned above.
Recently, leaders in Qatar have stressed that they are attempting to find new ways in order to bring to the country a large number of international visitors. In addition, Berthold Trenkel, the Qatar Tourism (QT) Chief Operating Officer said that the Kingdom has all the needed components in order to establish itself as a top destination for travel.
He also added that the country will transform the tourism industry in the future, while mentioning the fact that citizens of 95 countries can enter Qatar visa-free.
